Regulation vs. Decentralization: Does the Congress Draft Go Against the Soul of $BTC and DeFi?

The proposal from #USHouseMarketStructureDraft has raised alarms in the crypto community. Although it is presented as a framework to "protect the consumer," some points seem to go directly against the very essence of bitcoin and DeFi protocols.

Centralizing control? Reinforcing dependency on traditional intermediaries? Bitcoin was born to offer financial freedom, not to integrate into the rules it came to challenge.

Such regulations can stifle innovation, force developers to migrate outside the U.S., and in the worst-case scenario, suffocate decentralized projects.

Do you agree with this regulatory approach? Or do you believe that the true potential of Web3 lies in remaining free to innovate, as demonstrated by $SOL or $BNB and the altcoins since their inception?
