Fund Structure and Launch Details.
Approved by the Brazilian Securities Commission (CVM) in February 2025, the Hashdex Nasdaq XRP Index Fund (XRPH11) officially trades on the B3 exchange under the code XRPH11 from April 25, 2025. The fund tracks the Nasdaq XRP Reference Price Index, committing to allocate at least 95% of its net assets to XRP through direct holdings, futures contracts, or other financial instruments reflecting the index's performance, according to Hashdex.
With a net asset value of 551.2 million BRL (approximately 97 million USD), XRPH11 applies an annual management fee of 0.7% and a maximum custody fee of 0.1%, according to B3. This is Hashdex's ninth cryptocurrency ETF on B3, alongside Bitcoin (BITH11), Ethereum (ETHE11), and Solana (SOLH11), reinforcing the company's leading position in the Brazilian market.
Samir Kerbage, Investment Director at Hashdex, emphasized: “XRPH11 provides transparent and secure access to XRP, suitable for institutional and individual investors looking to participate in the Brazilian stock market.” The fund strictly complies with CVM regulations, ensuring investor protection and transparency.
Brazil: A Pioneer in Crypto Innovation
The launch of XRPH11 follows the success of the Solana ETF (QSOL11) in August 2024, making Brazil the first country to offer spot ETFs for both Solana and XRP. The swift approval of XRPH11, established on December 10, 2024, demonstrates CVM's progressive stance, contrasting with the caution of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Silvio Pegado, the Regional Executive Director for Latin America at Ripple, praised: “The approval of XRPH11 by CVM is evidence of Brazil's leading role in the global crypto market and its openness to financial innovation.” With a market capitalization of 128.4 billion USD, XRP is the fourth largest cryptocurrency, widely used in Ripple's cross-border payments, according to CoinMarketCap.
Research from Datafolha and Paradigma Education shows that 16% of Brazilians invest in crypto, 54% are familiar with the field, and 3 million people use self-custody wallets, creating a solid foundation for XRPH11.
