Dear Users:
As the cryptocurrency market continues to evolve, Binance remains committed to maintaining responsible listing standards that prioritize user protection, regulatory compliance considerations, and the long-term quality of projects.
This article will detail Binance's various token listing products, methods of listing, and corresponding evaluation requirements to help project teams familiarize themselves with the listing process. Projects interested in listing on Binance can also learn more about how to apply for listing at the end of this announcement.
Overview of Binance Listing Products:
Binance Alpha: Binance Alpha is a pre-listing pool focusing on discovering promising early crypto projects in the Web3 ecosystem and providing potential pathways for these projects to list on the Binance trading platform. Both the Binance wallet and Binance trading platform can access Binance Alpha. This seamless integrated product experience allows users to trade selected early tokens on-chain without the need for a Web3 wallet or external transfers.
Binance Contracts: Binance Contracts is the largest cryptocurrency contract platform by trading volume globally. Users can access liquidity, express market views, and hedge portfolio risks using contracts and other derivatives. Users can trade long and short positions on derivatives without holding the underlying tokens.
Binance Spot: Binance Spot is the largest cryptocurrency spot trading platform globally, allowing users to buy, sell, and hold quality crypto assets directly, obtaining asset ownership and long-term holding. In addition to direct spot listings, Binance offers various opportunities to enhance visibility and user engagement, such as HODLer Airdrops, new token mining, and Megadrop. These activities provide valuable exposure opportunities for projects, enabling them to interact with Binance's vast user base and gain early attention while allowing users to hold these tokens before they officially list on the Binance spot platform.
New Token Mining (Launchpool): Users can earn new project tokens for free by locking BNB or holding decentralized BNB assets and other supported tokens in the Binance Wallet through Binance Simple Earn.
Megadrop: Binance Megadrop integrates Binance Simple Earn with Binance Wallet, allowing users to get early access to carefully selected Web3 projects. By locking BNB or completing Web3 tasks (such as interactions or transactions), users can earn points that determine their token reward proportion.
HODLer Airdrop: Binance HODLer Airdrops distribute token rewards based on random snapshots of users' historical BNB holdings in Binance Earn and/or On-Chain Yields products. Users who use BNB to subscribe to Binance Simple Earn (fixed and/or flexible) or on-chain earning products will automatically receive HODLer Airdrop rewards.
Listing Methods and Requirements:
Binance supports various listing methods, each with specific requirements for project teams:
1. Binance Alpha Selection
Alpha Selection is currently divided into two categories: circulating projects and non-circulating projects.
Non-Circulating Projects
New projects nearing the Token Generation Event (TGE) phase can apply for exclusive TGE or Alpha premiere airdrops. These projects will benefit from the vast traffic of the Binance ecosystem, gaining more exposure and user support.
Evaluation Focus:
Project Fundamentals and Performance Indicators:
Consumer products, infrastructure projects, and other non-meme projects:
User Adoption: Established user base or verified usage metrics
Business Model: A viable business model with a clear growth path and profit prospects
Industry Relevance: Relevance to popular cryptocurrency themes and emerging narratives
For memecoins: Strong community foundation and cultural resonance
Token Economics:
Token Distribution: Number of holders, concentration of holdings among project teams, market makers, or developers
Vesting Schedule: Vesting schedules and token unlock events
Technical Risk Assessment:
Potential risks of tokens and related contracts
Code quality, innovation potential, system complexity, centralization risk, external audit history, dependency management, and previous security incidents
Team Background and Compliance Review:
Background checks on key team members and key stakeholders
Compliance-related risk assessments, such as sanctions and other financial risks
Circulating Projects
Projects that have issued tokens and are circulating in the market can apply for the Direct Featured function on the Alpha platform. Currently, the platform supports four blockchains: BNB Chain, Solana, Base, and Ethereum. We plan to expand support for more blockchains based on the development of various public chain communities.
For these projects, we emphasize secondary market performance and token distribution, while still aligning the project's fundamentals and performance indicators, token economics, technical risk assessment, and team background with the same standards as TGE projects mentioned above.
Specific requirements for secondary market performance include:
Trading volume, liquidity depth, and historical price volatility
Fully Diluted Valuation (FDV) and Market Capitalization (MCap)
2. Contract Listing
Contract listing reviews are currently divided into two categories:
Projects that have launched on the Alpha platform:
Since these projects have met basic requirements such as token economics, team quality, and token unlock plans during the Alpha launch evaluation process, the contract listing review will primarily focus on secondary market performance, provided that there are no significant negative changes in the project's fundamentals, token unlock plan, team status, and other key indicators. Key requirements include:
High trading volume on the Alpha version reflects recognition from the community and Binance users;
Price performance during Alpha trading is stable, with no significant crashes or price manipulation;
Compliance with regulatory requirements;
Continuously adhering to reasonable token distribution and unlock plans.
Projects that have not been recommended on the Alpha platform or cannot be recommended (e.g., new Layer-1 blockchain):
These projects must meet comprehensive basic requirements similar to those of the Alpha platform, including:
Project fundamentals and performance indicators
Token Economics
Technical Risk Assessment
Team Background and Regulatory Compliance Review
3. Spot Listing
Spot listing reviews are currently divided into two categories:
Projects that have launched on contract platforms and/or have launched on the Alpha platform and are circulating
New Token Generation (TGE) Projects
Projects that have launched on contract platforms and/or have launched on the Alpha platform and are circulating:
These projects have met the fundamental requirements during the token listing evaluation process on the Alpha/contract platform. The spot listing review will primarily focus on secondary market performance, provided that there are no significant negative changes in the project's fundamentals, token unlock plan, team status, and other key indicators. Main considerations include:
Maintaining high and consistent trading volume on Alpha and contract platforms;
Token prices remain stable during trading on Alpha and contract platforms, with no significant price crashes or manipulation;
Regulatory compliance considerations;
Continuously adhering to reasonable token distribution and unlock plans.
New Token Generation (TGE) Projects:
Teams may prioritize participation in other listing methods on Binance, such as Launchpool, Megadrop, and HODLer Airdrops, to increase the chances of listing on Binance. Additionally, teams may also consider direct spot listing, with specific standards aligned with Alpha listing requirements:
Project fundamentals and performance indicators
Token Economics
Technical Risk Assessment
Team Background and Compliance Review
Application Method:
Projects interested in listing can apply through the following methods:
Spot Listing: Submit the Binance General Token Listing Application Form.
Contract Listing: Submit the Binance Contract Listing Application Form.
Binance Alpha Selection: Projects interested in joining Binance Alpha can submit applications through the official Alpha application form.
*Please ensure that the application form is filled out completely by the project founder or core member and includes all relevant information for timely and comprehensive review.

Delisting Standards (Applicable to Spot, Contracts, and Alpha Platforms)
To maintain a healthy and sustainable ecosystem, Binance regularly reviews launched projects and may delist tokens that do not meet current standards. The following criteria apply to delisting decisions for all spot, contract, and Alpha platforms.
1. Team and Governance
The project lacks ongoing development or appears to be abandoned.
Insufficient or low-quality development updates.
Poor communication and transparency with the team, community, and Binance.
The project fails to respond to Binance's regular due diligence requirements.
Significant disruptive changes in the team or ownership structure.
2. Market Performance and Trading Activity
Trading volume and liquidity: Continuous low trading activity or insufficient market depth.
Price Stability: Significant crashes or price manipulation behavior.
Market Manipulation: Evidence or suspicion of price manipulation or fraudulent trading activity.
Community Sentiment: Continuous negative feedback or loss of community trust.
3. Product and/or Network Security
Network Stability: Potential vulnerabilities, security flaws, or attacks on the project.
Token Economics: Unreasonable or significant increases in token supply, or significant changes in token economics that harm the interests of holders.
Regulatory Compliance: The project fails to meet new legal or regulatory requirements.
Unethical or Fraudulent Conduct: Evidence of fraud, negligence, or other unethical behavior that undermines the integrity of the project.
Binance is committed to maintaining a secure, transparent, and high-quality trading environment. We continually monitor launched projects to protect user rights and ensure the integrity of the ecosystem. Projects that do not meet these standards may be delisted to protect community interests.
These guidelines reflect Binance's commitment to maintaining a healthy and sustainable ecosystem. We encourage projects that meet these standards to apply to ensure that all listed assets meet high standards.
Thank you for your support of Binance!
