#SaylorBTCPurchase Michael Saylor’s company, Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), has once again increased its Bitcoin holdings with a major purchase in April 2025. The firm acquired 6,556 BTC for approximately $555 million, bringing its total stash to around 538,200 BTC. This purchase was made at an average price of roughly $84,785 per coin, signaling continued confidence in Bitcoin's long-term value.
The acquisition was financed through the sale of over 1.76 million shares of Class A common stock and more than 91,000 shares of preferred stock. Strategy’s total Bitcoin holdings now represent over 2.5% of the total circulating supply, strengthening its position as the largest corporate holder of BTC.
Despite ongoing market fluctuations and regulatory uncertainties, the company remains committed to its Bitcoin-centric treasury strategy. Saylor has previously stated a long-term goal of reaching $42 billion in Bitcoin holdings by the end of 2027, and this latest move aligns with that vision.
