According to Wu, Bybit CEO Ben Zhou released a briefing on the tracking of stolen funds, with a total amount of stolen crypto assets approximately $1.4 billion (about 500,000 ETH), of which 68.57% can still be tracked, 27.59% has been 'disconnected' and cannot be tracked, and 3.84% has been frozen. The untraceable funds mostly flowed into crypto mixers, and then moved to P2P and OTC platforms via cross-chain bridges. On-chain data shows that approximately 432,748 ETH (accounting for 84.45%, approximately $1.21 billion) has been transferred to the Bitcoin chain through Thorchain, of which about 67.25% was exchanged for 10,003 BTC, dispersed across 35,772 addresses, with only about 1.17% ETH remaining on the Ethereum network. Additionally, 944 BTC has flowed into Wasabi Mixer, and 531 BTC has been transferred back to the Ethereum network through Thorchain.
