Everyone knows the legend about the pizza for 10,000 bitcoins? Now let me tell you my story.
It was 2016. I was 16 years old. A girl into sports, the gym, fashion, you know what I mean. I loved beautiful workout clothes — just like all of us girls.
And then I found a cool Russian brand. The stuff was fire. I wanted to order. But there was one catch: I wasn't from Russia, and I couldn't pay with a European card. I thought: well, I'll create a wallet. But documents for minors are not accepted. Of course, taking the easy way out — that's not me.
What did I do?
I created an account on blockchain.com, went to an office where I could buy BTC near my home, bought bitcoins, transferred the coins to another wallet, exchanged them for rubles — and voila, I could place orders. Strategy, engineering, bitcoin, clothes — everything came together!
If someone had told me back then… why this #btc at all…
For example, one of my leggings cost €44.37 — and I paid 0.060634 BTC for them.
Today, at the exchange rate, that's 5,124.67 USDC.
Five. Thousand. Dollars.
For leggings.
And that wasn't a one-time purchase… I was ordering there all the time.
If only I had known. If only I had known… 😆
And then came 2020, and I got acquainted with crypto again.
On one hand — very fortunate.
On the other — quite the opposite.
Should I tell?!$BTC
