The volumes of spot trading in Bitcoin and altcoins have decreased over the last two months due to price corrections. The volume of Bitcoin spot trading on cryptocurrency exchanges fell from $44 billion at the beginning of February to $10 billion at the end of the first quarter. Altcoins also experienced a decline from $122 billion to $23 billion.

Against this backdrop, Binance has strengthened its dominance, reaching nearly 50% of the total spot trading volume. Binance's share in Bitcoin spot trading increased from 33% to 49%, while its share in altcoin trading rose from 38% to 44%.

Binance has become the main platform for liquidity during high volatility. For example, when Bitcoin dropped from $96K to $90K, trading volumes on Binance exceeded all other exchanges combined. Even during the overall decline, major altcoins such as BNB, TON, and EOS maintain high activity on Binance.
