According to CoinWorld news, China Pacific Insurance (CPIC) Investment Management Company, as a Hong Kong subsidiary of one of China's largest insurance groups, has launched a tokenized US dollar money market fund. This eStable money market fund (MMF) was launched on the HashKey chain, a permissioned blockchain developed by the digital asset group HashKey for institutional users. It successfully raised $100 million in subscription funds on its first day. The product is aimed only at professional and institutional investors, investing in short-term fixed-income assets and money market instruments denominated in US dollars. PAC serves as the tokenized issuance platform for this fund, while Standard Chartered Bank provides registration and fund management services.
