A prominent SHIB community executive has sparked widespread market excitement on Monday after highlighting the possibility of a Shiba Inu Coin (SHIB) ETF approval. Notably, marketing executive Lucie revealed key factors that make the dog-themed meme coin an ideal choice for an ETF product. Amid growing global support for cryptocurrencies, traders and investors expect SHIB prices to rise if the feat comes to pass. Meanwhile, the dog-themed token’s intraday destruction rate surged by a staggering +8,000%, further solidifying the market’s bullish sentiment on the price.

Is Shiba Inu ETF filing feasible? Lucy's post sparks optimism

According to Lucie’s recent X post, the dog-themed meme coin exhibits strong characteristics that make it an ideal candidate for a Shiba Inu ETF. Lucie revealed that the meme coin has 212 trading pairs on more than 110 exchanges, covering all the top cryptocurrency trading platforms.

Based on this, the marketing executive called the cryptocurrency a great choice for an ETF product due to its global accessibility. “SHIB is more than just a meme — it’s decentralized, community-driven, and enduring,” she concluded.

The announcements have drawn notable attention in the broader market, echoing the wave of optimism sparked by recent cryptocurrency-backed ETF filings. CoinGape reported that Canary Capital recently filed an S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission seeking approval for the SUI ETF.

In addition, since the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has previously approved the Dogecoin ETF application submitted by Grayscale, the possibility of Dogecoin ETF approval has also increased significantly. Against the backdrop of the increasing number of cryptocurrency ETF applications, market speculation about BlackRock's application for Dogecoin ETF is also heating up. Overall, these developments have injected great optimism into the possibility of future applications for Shiba Inu ETFs.

SHIB's cash burn rate surges, boosting market optimism

This Monday, SHIB’s destruction rate surged by 8,454%, further reinforcing investors’ bullish expectations for prices. In the past 24 hours, more than 1 billion SHIBs were destroyed, which had a significant impact on the circulation of the meme coin. This reduction in supply, combined with market demand, is driving investor optimism about price trends.

For context, the burn mechanism permanently reduces the circulating supply of meme coins by sending tokens to an inaccessible address. As a result, there has been a notable bullish shift in market sentiment regarding future price action.

After this massive loss, the total circulating supply is estimated to be 584.35 trillion. Coupled with the Shiba Inu ETF filing speculation, these developments suggest that a price rally is imminent.
