Think from a different angle about Binance's voting and delisting activities; among the projects on the list, GoPlus is one of the few that can still be saved.
It's not that I pity it; the fact that it dropped 80% just half a month after going public is truly irresponsible, treating everyone like chives deserves this outcome.
The reason I say it can still be saved is as follows:
1. The attitude is still decent; after the incident, they took out 2 million USDC to compensate the affected users (to be distributed by April 11).
2. They provided a buyback plan; actually, this is beyond their control. The market maker account of 4.34 million USDT has been frozen by Binance, and since they don’t want this money to be permanently frozen, they can only use it for buyback.
3. The voting ended on March 28, which is the deadline; the deadline will force GoPlus to take action. The process required for executing the buyback has already been completed, and they are currently negotiating with Binance for thawing; the next step should be to start the buyback.
Other project teams may try to save themselves by releasing some verbal good news, but $GPS is genuinely trapped.
Moreover, if it gets delisted, it won’t just hurt GoPlus; the retail investors who invested in GPS over the past half month would also be treated unfairly.
