Binance unveiled improvements in listing and delisting policies that aim to promote increased community interaction.

In their announcement, Binance asserted their unrelenting dedication to serving their users, above all, affirming that the community is key to the exchange's prosperity and expansion. Binance launched the "Vote to List" and "Vote to Delist" processes. The community is to have a greater role in the listing process.

Binance's Reasons for Improving its Listing/Delisting Policies

The services provided by Binance aim at equipping users with a wider selection of options for finding promising ventures, while ensuring that such ventures meet stringent benchmarks for excellence, innovation, and regulation.

The Community Co-Governance Mechanism

The exchange emphasized community involvement in developing it; as such, it included two listing mechanisms that were governed through a framework of co-governance:

Voting To List

👉Users will be able to vote on their favorite projects for possible inclusion.

👉Those projects with the most votes and which pass due diligence will be listed on the exchange.

👉The exchange will select the market and the Alpha Observation Zone, which will decide what projects are included in the voting pool.

👉To vote, users' master accounts must contain at least 0.01 BNB.

Those candidates, having cleared their TGE, but not having entered the Alpha Observation Zone, shall proceed with the self-nomination application process.

Vote to delist

Voters would be in a position to cancel a project from the Monitoring Zone. The Monitoring Zone shall include projects that:

👉Lack of product development updates

👉Teams and communities have become dormant.

👉Failing to provide timely reports about developments.

👉Inflate the token supply without due process.

👉Poses serious dangers to its users.

👉Failure to reveal important token information

As with Listing Votes, a balance of at least 0.01 BNB must be held in their master account.

Pre-market trading

Pre-market trading allows users early access to Launchpool tokens, thereby enabling them to trade them before the official Spot listing. Users thus acquire a strategic advantage in earning profits but must also understand the risks and eligibility constraints. Binance will also remove pricing caps. These listing possibilities offered by the exchange assist project teams and users.

Project Objectives

Binance also listed some essential project criteria:

👉Undervaluation of the market, but great Web 3 growth potential.

👉Robust product basis and creative ability.

👉Excellent foundations and a sustainable company model

👉A rather active user base

👉Future long-term perspective

👉Compliance and Accountability

Alpha Observation Zone of Binance Wallet

The Alpha Zone includes:

👉Newer and trending tokens; however, some projects could show more volatility.

👉Projects using the Binance Wallet running unique TGEs.

👉The bitcoin exchange also said that Alpha Zone projects will be regularly evaluated to confirm they satisfy listing criteria.

Binance will research forthcoming listing projects from Alpha Domain, vote to list, and Direct Listing for Spot Calls. Moreover, the communication revealed that it might remove particular projects from Alpha Zone because of:

👉Bad performance.

👉Price decrease.

Empowering the community through various listing opportunities

Binance completed its announcement by stressing the various listing opportunities that projects have, stating that its aims include the following:

👉Promoting a Sustainable Industry

👉Enhancing valuation models.

👉Improving token distribution.

👉Aligning the interests of communities, retail investors, and projects

👉Provide improved exposure to early-stage and mid-sized projects.

Launchpool, Megadrop, HODLer Airdrops, Direct Spot Listings, Pre-Market Trading, and Community Voting

Binance's listing structure provides a variety of participation opportunities, including Launchpool, Megadrop, HODLer Airdrops, Direct Spot Listings, Pre-Market Trading, and Community Voting.

That way, Binance wants to foster a sustainable sector by refining valuation methods and token distribution, thereby harmonizing the interests of the community, retail investors, and projects. By assisting early-stage and mid-sized projects, we help them obtain market exposure and visibility.

Launchpool

Users can get new project tokens through Binance Launchpool for free by locking BNB (including decentralized BNB assets stored in Binance Wallet) and other supporting tokens.

The Megadrop

Because Binance Megadrop has integrated Binance Simple Earn with Binance Wallet, users can experience early access to carefully selected Web3 projects before their official listing on Binance. Users can lock BNB or complete Web3 tasks (such as interactions or transactions) to earn points, which determine their proportionate token rewards.

HODLers' airdrops

The Binance HODLer Airdrops give token rewards based on random snapshots of customers' BNB holdings in On-Chain Yields and Binance Earn products. When users subscribe BNB to Fixed and/or Flexible Earn and/or On-Chain Yields products, they are immediately eligible for HODLer Airdrops bonuses.

Direct Listing of Spots

Immediate spot market listings are permitted by Binance for established or high-potential projects, providing them with immediate access to and visibility among Binance's sizable user base.
