💙What opportunity led everyone to participate in the Crypto investment market?
Most of the time, I see that people get to know and participate in cryptocurrency investments through advertisements, shocking news about huge profits, and information about becoming a millionaire overnight thanks to Crypto... or through the flaunting of wealth by 'scammers' in ads to lure people in, resulting in unintentional investments.
As for myself, I started from trading Binary Options in 2016 and simultaneously explored Coin out of curiosity.
The period from 2016 to 2019 was truly a beginner phase for Crypto, not fully understanding the nature of the market and just blindly trading and playing HYIP projects (Ponzi schemes) that promised profits of 25-55% each month. At that time, I also invested in mining equipment. I also bought BTC and held ETH, DOGE, and TRX from playing HYIP. In just 3 months, my account doubled. But because I reinvested in HYIP, I lost everything afterwards.
At that time, I was shocked and truly began to understand Crypto in depth. Gradually, I understood the nature and the scams. The waves back then were much more subdued than now, guys. At the beginning of the year, it was 3-5k, then it rose to 10-12k, and then dropped to 6k by the end of the year.
In 2020, it rose to 10k, then crashed back to 3.7k like the article from yesterday. Trading during that time was nerve-wracking with the market. But thanks to those shocks, I researched many projects, various types, and encountered enough scams:
Until now, I personally think that I 'fear the market' more than conquering it. The fear here is about the way it spreads that enticing piece of cheese and blatantly pumps it. If one’s nature is not too greedy and is willing to learn to control oneself, then trading to earn money is still a feasible and achievable task.
