The five stages of cryptocurrency trading growth
Entering the cryptocurrency space, good fortune favors but hides crises
When I first entered the cryptocurrency space, like most people, I relied entirely on luck, buying whichever coin looked appealing. Perhaps it was a stroke of luck, or maybe the so-called newbie protection period at play, but in the first six months, my assets actually skyrocketed by several times. At that time, I was so high that I couldn't find my bearings, inflated to the extreme.
However, reality soon doused me with cold water. The market is ruthless and merciless, and good fortune cannot accompany you forever. In a single transaction, my assets were instantly halved. At that moment, I truly realized that the trading market is not an ATM; money earned by luck is often lost back by skill.
Studying techniques, building a trading system
That heavy failure made me realize that relying solely on luck in the cryptocurrency space is not sustainable. Therefore, I began to reflect and learn, embarking on the path of studying trading knowledge and techniques. I read a lot of professional books, spent all day on various information platforms, digging for opportunities, absorbing trading insights, and combining them with technical indicators to diligently build my own trading system.
When I first entered the cryptocurrency space, if the goddess of luck happened to smile upon me, it was the golden opportunity for learning. Taking advantage of the newbie protection period, I learned more techniques to improve my analytical skills. When I felt I had mastered enough trading skills, although I no longer incurred significant losses and had the ability to counter risks, my assets did not experience explosive growth. However, my understanding of the market deepened, thus beginning my journey to explore the true essence of trading.
Enlightenment in trading, focusing on trading psychology
With the accumulation of experience, I gradually realized that various trading indicators and systems are not the core determinants of profit and loss. At this point, I shifted my focus to the psychological aspect of trading. I found that many times, successful trading relies on bold actions and patient waiting, rather than blind impulsiveness and frequent trading. This actually has a subtle connection with the intuitive trading mindset I had when I first entered the cryptocurrency space.
I fully understand that predicting the market is as difficult as climbing to the sky, so I turned to building an independent trading system, adhering to my trading logic. I gradually learned to manage positions and leverage reasonably, calculating returns over a monthly cycle, no longer entangled in the gains and losses of a single transaction.
Trading gradually stabilizes, forming mature trading logic
Once I had a clear trading logic and a sound trading system, as long as I strictly followed the principles and calmly accepted losses and profits, I could achieve overall small losses and big profits, becoming a stable trader and investor. At this stage, I naturally gained the recognition and respect of others, even being referred to as 'teacher'.
Of course, occasionally, there will be black swan events that impact trading logic, but black swan incidents are rare, and the trading logic formed through rigorous practice must be upheld.
Trading becomes second nature, becoming a top trader
When my trading skills reached a level of excellence, I could handle various indicators and market conditions with ease; profits and losses were no longer a source of turmoil, and my emotions were stable. At this point, it felt as though I had a trading intuition; trading was no longer about seeking thrills, but rather about continuous profit as the sole goal. At this point, I finally exhibited the demeanor of a top trader, possessing patience, perseverance, and trading wisdom far beyond the average person.
The path of trading has no end; it requires us to continuously learn and make progress. From initially stepping into the cryptocurrency space to becoming proficient, only by continuously refining the trading system and understanding the way of trading can we achieve stable profits in a volatile market. In trading, no one can avoid losses completely, but achieving small losses while making big profits is the goal we always pursue.
