According to Foresight News, Polygon Labs has revealed that the first phase of native USDC migration on Polygon PoS is currently underway. DeFi protocols, bridges, and NFT markets are helping to incentivize users to gradually phase out the cross-chain version of USDC, known as USDC.e, and replace it entirely with the native version.
In addition, Polygon Labs has noted that Polygon PoS is not yet connected to AggLayer. However, the community is currently considering a proposal to upgrade Polygon PoS to zkEVM validium.
