According to the Daily Planet, the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) has issued a consultation on the rules for fund investment in cryptocurrencies, involving eligible types of cryptocurrencies and restrictions on funds and digital asset custody. This consultation will last until April 17. According to the consultation, the CSA will limit which crypto assets are eligible for investment based on whether the assets are traded on regulated exchanges or whether related derivatives are traded. In addition, the CSA may prohibit investment in NFT assets because regulators believe that collectibles are not suitable for financial investment.
