Binance Academy has joined forces with Blockchain Center to expand its Global University Outreach Program with the goal of integrating blockchain education into the curriculum of more than 200 universities across 50+ countries. This partnership aims to train over 300 academic professionals and establish an academic knowledge repository that will enable over a million students to be educated in blockchain engineering and compliance by 2026.

Initially, the collaborative initiative was launched in 22 universities in Kazakhstan. The expansion reflects the successful pilot program run in Kazakhstan, which trained more than 300 university educators and over 4,000 students. The partnership combines Binance Academy's extensive network with the Blockchain Center's academic and training proficiency to deliver an effective education program.

Aidana Kaskyrbek, CEO and founder of the Blockchain Center, emphasized the significance of this initiative, noting that it would tremendously bolster talent development in the blockchain industry.

The selection of participating universities depended on factors including regional influence, educational infrastructure, technological readiness, interest in blockchain, and a conducive socio-economic framework for blockchain adoption.

Yi He, co-founder of Binance, recognized the crucial role of blockchain education in driving digital financial transformation and expressed optimism about the future of the industry through this educational initiative.
