$BTC Total Bitcoin reserves held by exchanges fell from 3.25 million BTC in 2021 to 2.46 million BTC in 2024. At this rate, exchange reserves will run out by 2037. If institutional adoption grows at a faster rate than it is now, we will likely see a Bitcoin shortage well before 2037.
