🔍 How did he do it?
Medjedovic used a sophisticated exploit to attack the DeFi platforms KyberSwap and Indexed Finance. Through vulnerabilities in the smart contracts, he manipulated the prices of the tokens to artificially inflate their value and withdraw funds massively.
💰 The loot and his attempt at extortion
After the hacking, he attempted to launder the money using different wallets and cryptocurrency mixers. Additionally, he tried to extort the affected platforms, demanding payment to not reveal more details about his methods.
