According to Odaily, Tanzanian businessman and entrepreneur Mohammed Dewji, known as MO, was reportedly involved in a controversial token sale. Dewji's account on the social media platform X was used to announce the launch of a cryptocurrency called TANZANIA token, which was then sold to investors, generating a profit of $1.48 million. However, all related posts were subsequently deleted. Blockchain investigator ZachXBT later revealed that Dewji's account had been compromised, leading to the unauthorized promotion of the token.
