Odaily Planet Daily News According to official news, StarkWare announced that it will open source the cryptographic proof generation engine STARK Prover under the Apache 2.0 license. The open source STARK software will allow the community to independently maintain and develop the network, thus providing the most authentic way to build StarkNet as a decentralized public product. It will also allow the community to have more freedom to contribute to the development of Prover, thereby advancing the development of StarkNet. In addition, the open source Starknet Prover will allow more people to review the code, improve its quality, help detect errors, and provide transparency. It is reported that STARK Prover provides support for StarkNet and StarkEx for large-scale expansion while maintaining the security of Ethereum. This is another open source initiative of StarkWare after the open source Cairo 1.0, Papyrus Full Node and StarkNet's new Sequencer.
