The decentralized leveraged protocol Gearbox Protocol has established a foundation company, Gearbox Foundation, in the Cayman Islands, to promote, support and facilitate the growth and development of the Gearbox blockchain protocol, as well as solutions and applications related to, based on or interacting with the Gearbox blockchain protocol; and to provide support and funding for various R&D activities, venues and projects related to the Gearbox blockchain protocol, related technologies and its underlying software.

DAObox serves as the administrator of the foundation for a two-year term, which expires on February 2, 2025. The Gearbox Foundation recognizes the resolution voted by the DAO.
