When setting up the transfer, he accidentally selected the opBNB network instead of the BEP20 network. At first, everything seemed normal, but the funds never appeared in the destination account. What was the reason? The opBNB network is incompatible with the address on Bybit.
Although he contacted customer service, recovering funds from an incompatible network is a complex and uncertain process. As of now, his $10,000 is still trapped in the network.
