Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), was hit with a lawsuit on Monday, just minutes after President Donald Trump’s inauguration.
The 30-page complaint, filed by the public interest law firm National Security Counselors, claims that DOGE—named after Dogecoin( $DOGE ), Musk’s favorite meme cryptocurrency—is unlawfully operating as a federal advisory committee. The lawsuit alleges DOGE is violating the Federal Advisory Committee Act’s rules on hiring, transparency, and other requirements.
