PANews reported on January 26 that Ethereum staking infrastructure ssv.network published a document announcing its latest node version, Shifu V2. It is reported that the upgraded SSV node allows operators to assume all responsibilities on the Beacon Chain, officially allowing ssv.network nodes to participate in all responsibilities used in Ethereum consensus. In addition, ssv.network stated that the changes in the node are significantly different from the existing code, and to ensure a smooth transition to the new testnet version, ssv will reset the network. The current testnet will be closed for 2 weeks starting in early February, giving network operators enough time to update their node software to the latest version.
