Halloween at the Binance Angels

Binance is proud to have created a group of passionate crypto users and followers from around the world, known as the Binance Angels. These are volunteers who help Binance by protecting the online community from scammers, answering user questions, and helping organize in-person events.

Binance Angels are defined above all by their invigorating curiosity about blockchain. They are there to guide enthusiasts and experienced traders in the complex world of cryptocurrencies. They face challenges every day such as troubleshooting portfolio setup, organizing weekly educational sessions, and analyzing market trends, allowing them to effectively expand their skills and experience a host of enriching experiences.

For Halloween, our Binance Angels declare their love for crypto and for Binance, in stories related to Halloween festivities.

Ray Allan

One of our Angels from Kenya discovered Binance in 2020, a year that transformed him. Following a difficult personal experience, he found refuge and a mental outlet in the exciting world of cryptocurrencies. His journey led him to Binance, an exchange that quickly became much more than just a trading platform. Taking advantage of the plethora of educational resources available on Binance Academy, he quickly developed his knowledge of cryptocurrencies.

On the occasion of Halloween 2022, our Angel took to his best pen to write a heartfelt thank you poem for Binance. His expertise in cryptos did not go unnoticed: his community manager quickly realized his potential and suggested he become a Binance Angel. In January 2023, his dream came true, and he joined the team of dedicated Binance Angels who help and guide the Binance user community.

This Halloween, the spirit of our Binance Angels is also present in Vinnytsia, Ukraine. On October 31, 2008, Satoshi Nakamoto released the Bitcoin whitepaper, a monumental event that associated Halloween with crypto and gave rise to “Satosheen,” a Halloween-themed crypto celebration. The event quickly became a huge success with the local community, and every year it is an opportunity to share food, enjoy a special atmosphere, participate in competitions and meet new people.

Some even donned costumes, one of the Halloween essentials, specially created on the theme of cryptos, and one of our Angels took on the appearance of an “evil genius” by putting on a blouse on which The Binance Angels logo was hand painted. This evil genius stayed warm in a Binance hoodie that symbolized the spirit of our company in the freezing temperatures of Halloween.

Isaac Akintoye

One of our Angels remembers his participation in social activities initiated by Binance, a surreal and joyful memory. He vividly remembers a visit to Uganda organized as part of a partnership between Binance Charity and schools funded by Binance. This trip was not just another charity event: it transcended crypto and symbolized Binance's influence beyond the digital realm as well as its positive effect on the real world.

Smiles lit up the faces of young learners in Uganda as they were treated to a meal as part of Binance’s Lunch for Children program, the very picture of gratitude. Through this school lunch program, Binance gave these students much more than food: it gave them hope to continue their studies without fear of hunger and hope for a better future.
