On October 28, the community-driven open source blockchain platform Neo held the Neo Asia Pacific Hackathon Finals in Hong Kong and announced the five final winning teams, one for each Web3 track. This also marks the official end of the four-month hackathon competition. The five winning teams will join the "Web3.0 Global Acceleration Program" jointly initiated by Neo and Web3 Labs, and officially begin their journey of Web3 entrepreneurship and innovation.

The Neo APAC Hackathon was originally officially launched on Neo's Twitter in July, aiming to provide a grand competitive stage for Web3 entrepreneurs and developers from countries in Asia and other regions. Participants will compete for interim bonuses and final prizes totaling more than $120,000, and have the opportunity to join an incubation program totaling $1 million. This move is closely aligned with the positive regulatory environment of the Web3 industry in the region, and demonstrates Neo's commitment to promoting the prosperity of the Web3 field in Asia. The event initially held city station competitions in five cities in Asia: Tokyo, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangalore, Seoul and Singapore, and finally held the finals in Hong Kong; at the same time, online activities such as online seminars and mentor guidance were held to attract and support Web3 talents in the APAC region.

The five winning teams come from five popular Web3 tracks

On the afternoon of the second day of the two-day Neo Asia Pacific Hackathon finals, all 23 shortlisted teams took the stage to showcase their outstanding performance in their respective Web3 fields. The five tracks are: Decentralized Finance and Payment, NFT and Games, AI, Social and DAO, Infrastructure and General Track. Among these outstanding teams, five stood out and won the final prize. The winning team is:

- Prophet - DeFi and payments;

- magipop - AI, social and DAO;

- RΞSPECT - conventional.

*NFT and gaming prizes are on hold due to potential violations of the terms of the Hackathon by participating teams.
