Original article: "Moonbirds new project Mythics casting details"
Author: Azuma
On January 18, Twitter user Bagman tweeted to share some casting information about Moonbirds' new project "Moonbirds Mythics" (hereinafter referred to as Mythics).
Bagman said that he participated in many Moonbirds AMAs in the past few months and summarized some casting details about Mythics. In order to help everyone understand the relevant situation more easily, he specially made this thread on Twitter to share.
The following is the content of Bagman’s tweet, compiled by Odaily Planet Daily.
The first thing I need to explain to those who are not very aware is that Mythics will be the second set of NFTs in the Moonbirds series.
Mythics is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2023, but the exact date has not yet been determined. Its total supply is 20,000.
So how do you get the qualification to mint Mythics? Generally speaking, there are two ways: one is to hold Moonbirds (the current floor price is about 7.95 ETH), and the other is to hold Oddities (NFTs that Moonbirds previously shorted to position holders).
Moonbirds holders (who need to "build a nest") will be able to directly obtain airdropped Mythics, while Oddities holders will need to burn Oddities in exchange for Mythics.
There will be no additional fees for the casting of Mythics, and users only need to pay gas fees. As for the specific casting method, the development team Proof has made some special designs.
Mythics will continue to be issued at a rate of 50 per day, and it is expected to take 400 days to be issued. Of the 50 NFTs issued per day, holders who "nest" Moonbirds will be allocated 25, and holders who burn Oddities will also receive 25.
Considering that not all Oddities holders will choose to burn their Oddities, the remaining Mythics will be randomly distributed to Moonbirds holders. This means that in addition to the Mythics that are guaranteed to be airdropped, Moonbirds will have a chance to get a second Mythic, but who will be those lucky ones will be completely random.
To better engage the community, all Mythics will be completely randomized. There will be no difference between Mythics obtained through Moonbirds and Oddities, and the rarity of each set will not affect the rarity of the Mythics.
The above are the casting details shared by Bagman. It is worth mentioning that the above content is only the "personal opinion" of Bagman as a community user. The exact release details of Mythics are still unknown for the time being, and the final situation still depends on the disclosure of Proof.
