The government of the Central African Republic (CAR) announced on Tuesday that it has set up a task force that will explore how to integrate the national cryptocurrency Sango into the country’s economy.

The Crypto Committee will work on drafting a law on the use of cryptocurrencies and will also submit guidelines for the tokenization of assets in the country. It is reported that the 15 members of the Crypto Committee come from government departments such as mining and geology, rural development and urban planning. (The Block)
