A program called Binance Messenger appeared in the App Store, which the crypto company placed without an announcement.

"Communicate anytime, anywhere. Call, meet and message - all in one app. Ensure smooth operation of conference communication. Communicate effectively with team members," the description reads.

After information about the appearance of the messenger spread on the network, the head of Binance Changpeng Zhao clarified the situation in X.

According to him, it is "a small internal application that is used for testing". He promised to provide more information at the Binance Blockchain Week conference on November 8.

In the "Terms of Service" section, the company that produces the application is BIM Messenger LLC. According to the document, the messenger uses "state-of-the-art security and end-to-end encryption to provide private messaging, Internet telephony and other services to users around the world."

Previously, Binance clients from Ukraine, Armenia, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan were able to issue virtual payment crypto cards. The initiative was implemented as part of a partnership with the CardB fintech project.
