According to a press release issued today, Ripple partner Airwallex has established a partnership with American Express to expand merchant payment acceptance options.

Through this partnership, Airwallex customers in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and the UK will now be able to accept customer payments via American Express cards through the online payment portal, Xero invoice payments and e-commerce shopping extensions.

Airwallex revealed that the cooperation stems from customer demand to enjoy the benefits of accepting American Express payments, including serving high-end customers and a better customer payment experience.
