As the market moves towards compliance, will the next bull market be the last chance for retail investors? Will institutions enter the market and retail investors withdraw?

Recently, I have seen a lot of such views in the market, believing that under the leadership of institutions, the cryptocurrency market will be like the US stock market in the future, and retail investors will continue to be squeezed out of operating space and opportunities. However, I don’t think this is the case:

  • In the future, the projects or business development in the regions that are likely to be regulated are those that have passed the wild growth stage, and the opportunities brought by decentralization are almost all brought by wild growth.

Indeed, compliance means that the share of the primary market will be further divided up by institutions, and it also means that the institutional game in the secondary market will be more clearly exposed.

But as long as there is decentralization, opportunities for wild growth will continue to occur. The community attributes of Web3 or encryption promote this natural financial/speculative freedom!

From another perspective: #BTC Isn't it a successful meme? From a small group consensus to a regional consensus and then to a global consensus, it only took more than a decade~

-Industry-native opportunities under compliance

In the future, perhaps if the leading exchanges want to achieve compliance development, then a compliant listing procedure will be essential, but this will also give rise to native opposing demands.

That is to provide a DEX that is closer to user habits, or even a full-chain aggregated DEX!

In the context of future compliance, this type of DEX may reshape the current DeFi landscape, because current DEX development entities are likely to be subject to regulatory restrictions!

  • (Whether there will be various fundamental problems at that time is not discussed here, but the development entities behind the original DeFi will be affected to a greater or lesser extent)

This is also a topic that the industry cannot avoid, that is, some decentralized projects, even mainstream projects, although logically so-called decentralized, but the main development groups are centralized structures #uniswap

📍DEX that provides a full chain and conforms to current user habits may become the answer to the DEX track 2.0 version💪🏻

In addition, the top and mid-level CEXs actively seeking regulation will also bring opportunities to some new exchanges (it is not certain whether the independent station system will still be applicable in the future)

Therefore, my current conclusion is: avoid tilting too large a position in products such as DeFi, because in the context of compliance, they may be hit much harder than financial platforms/products such as CEX that are easily traceable.
