Binance announced that it was approved by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Swedish FSA) to register as a financial institution for the management and trading of virtual currencies on January 10, 2023. This means that Swedish residents will now be able to use Binance's extensive cryptocurrency and Web3 services, including euro deposits and withdrawals, buying cryptocurrencies with euros, trading, staking, and Binance Visa Card. Prior to this, Binance had been in constructive contact with the regulator for several months.
