Indian fintech lending platform KreditBee has completed a US$200 million Series D financing round, of which private equity giant Advent International provided US$100 million in investment, and the other US$100 million was invested by Japan's Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group and existing investors Premji Invest, Motilal Oswal Alternates, NewQuest Capital Partners and Mirae Asset Venture Investments. The new funds will be used to expand the scale of existing businesses and diversify products by entering into digital financial products.

KreditBee CEO Madhusudan Ekambaram said, "This latest round of funding will help us realize our vision of serving the country's 400 million-plus middle-income population." (Finextra)
