According to Bloomberg, Whampoa Group aims to deploy about $100 million to Web3 startups through a new venture capital arm. Whampoa Group is a multi-family office comprised of the head of the Lee family that founded OCBC Bank and the niece of Singapore's founding prime minister. The family office appointed Jeffrey Ma and Peter Huo as co-chief investment officers of Whampoa Digital last month.
