ZachXBT, a pseudonymous on-chain investigator, has exposed a Canadian scammer named Yahya for their alleged involvement in over 17 SIM swap attacks, resulting in the theft of more than $4.5 million. Yahya's role involved conducting account searches on various platforms, allowing scammer Skenkir to identify potential targets in the United States for SIM swap attacks. In total, Yahya received over 390 ETH (worth around $720K) to his address from these attacks.

Notable victims of these SIM swap attacks include a GCG team member, Bitboy Crypto aka Ben Armstrong, Slingshot, and PleasrDAO core team member Jamis. ZachXBT hopes that his findings can help serve as a basis for action against these scammers and assist the victims in their recovery efforts.
