good news! The Arbitrum Foundation has announced that Celestia becomes the first modular Data Availability (DA) network integrated into the Arbitrum Orbit and Nitro stack. This means developers can choose to publish data to Arbitrum One, Arbitrum Nova and Celestia. 🚀

The advent of Arbitrum Orbit allows developers to create their own dedicated Orbit chain and settle it to Arbitrum’s Layer 2 (L2) chain, including Arbitrum One, Arbitrum Nova, Arbitrum Goerli or Arbitrum Sepolia. 🔗

Integration with Celestia, a modular consensus and data network, aims to provide developers with more tools to reduce application data costs. Data availability is very important for Layer 2 as they execute transactions off-chain and then collectively upload the data to the mainnet. 🌐
