Blum, a hybrid decentralized exchange (DEX) project born from a Telegram mini-app will soon start a Drop Game campaign to the community. The event was deliberately held to give appreciation to customers for their support of Blum so far. Unfortunately, the event instead sparked controversy from the market, because some parties considered the campaign too exclusive.

According to the X (Twitter) Blum page, the activity is the result of collaboration with another Telegram-based crypto project, DOGS. Both agreed to work together to provide Blum users with the opportunity to get prizes in the form of DOGS tokens and Blum points through the game.

In the process, Blum will randomly select 100,000 users to participate in the campaign. The company claims to have a secret ranking system that can measure the level of user engagement on the platform.

One user called out Blum for using unfair practices, as out of millions of users, the opportunity was only open to a few.

Some of the indicators used by Blum include, playing time on Drop Game, number of tasks completed, daily check-in sequence, number of friends and connectivity with Ton wallet.

Blum Users Reach 80 Million

Blum co-founder and CEO Gleb Kostarev also joined X and explained that they have limited resources to distribute Drop Game rewards. This scheme was deliberately chosen to be able to reward the most engaged players.
