🎉Ethereum Layer 2 solution Scroll mainnet is officially launched! 🎉

Recently, the much-watched Ethereum Layer 2 network Scroll announced that its mainnet has been officially launched. As a general-purpose ZK-Rollup based on zkEVM, Scroll is designed to provide the highest level of EVM compatibility for existing applications and tools. This means it will bring users greater security, lower gas fees, faster block times, and alignment with the Ethereum vision.

After the Scroll mainnet was launched, some projects have begun to integrate or support the Scroll mainnet, providing users with more application scenarios and services. Projects of interest include Merkly, Zonic on Scroll, PunkSwap Token, Skydrome, Scroll Name Service, Scroll Doge (zkDoge), Scrollswap Finance Token (SF), Script (SCRIPT), Scroll Inu (Sinu).

Since its launch, Scroll’s total locked value (TVL) has accumulated to more than $1.5 million, showing a steady growth trend. More than 1,383 users have bridged ETH on Scroll, and more than 976 ETH have been bridged to the Scroll mainnet, with a total value of approximately US$1.5 million.

It is worth mentioning that Scroll focuses more on the "synchronization" aspect of zk proofs rather than its "privacy" aspects, which allows the protocol to compress a large amount of calculations into a tiny proof. In addition, all zk proofs will ultimately be completed by a decentralized "certifier" network.
