The United Kingdom’s National Crime Agency is recruiting a team of law enforcement officers to investigate cryptocurrency crime, according to a job posting on the government’s website.
It is reported that the total amount of global cryptocurrency hacker attacks reached US$3 billion in 2022. Between March 2021 and April 2022, crypto fraud was the main type of financial fraud alerts in the UK, and regulators filed 432 cryptocurrency-related fraud cases during this period.
