
The founder of Goobers NFT, nicknamed "DNP3", lost his life savings and millions of dollars in user funds due to his gambling addiction. In the end, he only left one sentence: "I'm sorry to disappoint you. I'm sorry."
DNP3 published a long post on Twitter in the early morning of today (4th), confessing everything to his 600,000 fans and explaining the cause and effect of the incident. He said:
Over the past year I have become incredibly addicted to gambling. I put every penny I had into Stake hoping to win big. Although I sometimes win a lot, I always feel unsatisfied. Eventually, I lost everything. In addition to my own life savings, I irresponsibly used investors' funds in an attempt to win back the money I had lost in gambling with interest.
DNP3 said, “I am completely bankrupt now both financially and mentally,” but he has realized that his behavior was wrong, and is deeply sorry to his relatives, friends and everyone who believes in him. He said, “I even There are no words to describe how ashamed and guilty I feel.”
He later added on Twitter that it all started with a sponsored live broadcast, but ended up leading him step by step into the abyss of gambling.
DNP3 is currently actively participating in group therapy in an attempt to quit gambling.
DNP3 is the founder of the NFT project Goobers, which was launched in September 2021 and has accumulated a total transaction volume of approximately 968 Ethereum coins. The floor price of Goobers NFT hit a peak of 55.25 Ethereum coins in February last year, but had fallen to 0.02 Ethereum coins as of January 3.
DNP3 did not disclose how much gambling money was invested from start to finish, but The Block Research estimated that it was at least several million dollars.
DNP3 is also the founder of the Web3 game project Gridcraft Network and the cryptocurrency charity project CluCoin. He has more than 251,000 fans on the live broadcast platform Twitch.
