Some people are again misleading others about FTT being equity. Here I will clarify that virtual currencies do not belong to securities; they are not publicly traded companies, and there is no concept of equity. The SEC has always wanted to classify virtual currencies as securities, but so far, they have not reached an agreement. Even if the virtual currency industry is classified as securities in the future, FTT cannot be considered equity because it is merely a platform token issued by an exchange. You can think of it as a product launched by a company; we are just consumers. You cannot say that by buying someone's product, you are entitled to a share in that company. This is not ignorance; this is rogue behavior.
