0xsifu, a controversial figure in the cryptocurrency community, has repeatedly shorted ETH through the decentralized derivatives trading protocol Kwenta in the past few days.

According to data from Perps Watcher, 0xsifu currently holds a total of more than 20 million US dollars in ETH short positions, with an average position opening price of 1,643 US dollars and a current unrealized loss of approximately 2.186 million US dollars.

In addition, the contract margin in 0xsifu's current contract is only US$2.23 million. Without adding additional margin, if Ethereum rises from the current price by another US$144.68 (the price of Ethereum is US$1,829 at the time of writing this article) to US$1,973.68, 0xsifu's Short contracts will trigger forced liquidation.

Interestingly, since 0xsifu is so notorious in the cryptocurrency community, even on-chain detective ZachXBT said on the community platform:

"Please liquidate Sifu, no matter how illegal the method."

Please liquidate Sifu, no matter how illegal.
