According to ChainCatcher, CACEIS, a major French custodian bank, announced that it has supported access to native digital currency market funds (MMFs) and launched a new digital asset custody architecture.
CACEIS is a subsidiary of Credit Agricole, with assets under management exceeding 8 trillion euros. In May of this year, the company established a dedicated digital asset business line and cooperated with technology company Taurus to carry out custody and tokenization business.
Recently, CACEIS also obtained the Digital Asset Service Provider (DASP) license in Spain. This series of measures shows that traditional financial institutions are actively deploying in the field of digital assets, bringing more innovation and possibilities to the market.
