According to Businesswire on January 3, Metaverse Group, a subsidiary of Tokens.com, a Canadian listed company that invests in Web3 assets and businesses, acquired NFT platform CocoNFT. CocoNFT co-founders Mark Allen and Brody Berson will join the Metaverse Group team as chief technology officer and chief product officer, respectively. The acquisition of Coco includes a software platform that allows users to mint NFTs from Instagram using blockchain and Web3 wallets.
