Preface

With the development of the cryptocurrency industry, some specific currencies and functions are only available on designated exchanges, or in order to diversify risks, most people will not only allocate their assets in a single exchange or wallet. The market is full of so many exchanges, on-chain wallets, and various public chains. Whenever we want to manage our assets, we have to open them individually to check, and only after adding them up can we know the total amount of assets we own, which is very troublesome!

Coinstats is the largest asset integration application on the market. It allows you to easily integrate centralized and decentralized asset portfolios. Not only does it have a web version, you can even download the App on your mobile phone, allowing users to view their asset portfolios anytime, anywhere. There are also many very practical functions in the App, which will be introduced and presented to you one by one in this article!

Coin Statistics

Founded in 2017, CoinStats is an application that allows users to track their cryptocurrency portfolios. Not only can it view the prices of more than 6,000 currencies in real time and support more than 75 public chains, but users can also connect to major Defi and Cefi exchanges and wallets, even cold wallets, without having to manually record asset changes every time. Connecting to the centralized exchange API only requires "read permissions" and there is no need to worry about theft or misappropriation. Recently, NFT tracking, alarms, and task points functions have been added, which is very convenient for users.

Currently supports Android, iOS APP, web version, download link is as follows:

1. Choose your reason for using Coinstats. You can choose any one here.

2. Set your own asset accumulation goal and there will be a target % number later.

3. Search for the centralized exchange, hot wallet, or cold wallet you want to connect to.

4. Select 10 currencies to track. If the selected currencies have a significant increase or decrease, the App notification will be displayed.

Coinstats Tutorial: Exchanges

  1. First, select "Portfolio-Link Others" below, and you will see the page above to select exchanges and wallets. First, let's connect to the exchange, taking "Binance" as an example

2. Select "API Sync" at the top, click "Enter API KEY", and you will see the picture above to enter "API KEY" and "API Secret"

3. Go to the Binance App service function, find API Management, choose to create a new API, and check the preset security items below

4. Select "Automatically generated by the system". The key label is used to identify the purpose of this API. Here we take Coinstats as an example. This completes the creation.

5. You can see the newly generated API. After confirming that only "Enable Reading" is checked below, you can copy a set of "API KEY" and "API Secret" to the Coinstats paste box to complete the import and view the asset portfolio in Coinstats.

Coinstats Tutorial: On-chain Wallet

1. On the same page as the exchange you just bound, select the on-chain wallet. Here we take the most commonly used MetaMask as an example.

2. If you already have MetaMask App installed, you will be automatically redirected to click the link

3. If you don’t have MetaMask App installed, you can also manually enter the address to connect

4. This completes the connection, and of course it can also be used to peek into what assets are in the whale’s wallet.

Useful functions

Under Alerts – Custom, there are many useful features:

1. Price limit: For a specified currency, an alert will be issued when the specified price is reached or the price rises or falls by a specified % so that you can know the price changes instantly, replacing the only one alert function in Trading view

2. NFT floor price reminder: For a specified NFT series, an alarm will be issued when the floor price reaches a specified price or rises or falls by a specified % to instantly know the floor price and changes, so as to buy NFT at the bottom

3. Trading volume: For a specified currency, an alert will be issued when the trading volume reaches a specified amount or when the trading volume rises or falls by a specified percentage. You can instantly know the changes in trading volume and pay attention to market changes.

4. Market value: Alerts are issued for the total market value of cryptocurrencies when it reaches a specified amount or rises or falls by a specified percentage.

Conclusion

Coinstats can integrate your own DeFi, Cefi and cold wallet assets, which is very convenient. If you need it, you can also upgrade to the paid version to experience better functions. But it is a pity that some exchanges have not yet supported it. I look forward to its better development in the future!

Coinstats is an asset integration app I have used, such as Debank, Zappper, etc., but they only have Defi projects, which is not ideal for people like us who mainly trade on Cefi. In addition, the Coinstats interface is also very user-friendly. If you have a certain amount of assets or are a newbie, I highly recommend using Coinstats. Before accumulating wealth, use Coinstats to understand your wealth status, and better plan your wealth distribution to prepare for the bull market.
