According to Foresight News, Jito, a Solana ecosystem staking project, has initiated an improvement proposal to "deploy the Jito re-staking module in stages". If the proposal is approved, the Jito Foundation will transfer the deployed instance of the protocol to Jito DAO in three stages: the migration stage, allowing users to migrate assets to the Vault Restake Token (VRT) vault; the staking stage, enabling the Node Consensus Network (NCN) to start and implement most of the core functions of the protocol; the slashing stage, enabling NCN to activate slashing.
