The vast majority of Fantom Foundation funds (over 99%) are unaffected and remain safe.

The Fantom Foundation said it is investigating the attack mechanism: the personal wallet of a Fantom employee was attacked. Some of the affected wallets were labeled "Foundation Wallets", but these wallets are no longer used by the organization, but were reassigned to a Fantom employee, so this was a targeted personal attack.
