Best way to earn from Market is Averaging.. But not on time basis.. Averaging must be on buy on dip basis.
A strategy could be. For a XYZ coin, which you find can give good returns. For eg. XRP, Doge, ADA etc. buy when market is falling.
$300 can be divided into 3 parts if you wants to invest in 3 coins. Then if coin price falls around 10-15%. Buy $10. Then later whenever you see 10-15%, buy next $10. You don't have to care about how much market going up. just look when market(coin price) is 10-15% down.
Note that just wait somewhile to see if market is still going down then try to buy at as low as you can.
