PANews reported on December 14 that LayerZero stated in an official blog post that LayerZero V2 has been deployed on more than 40 test networks today and released the V2 technical white paper. LayerZero V2 introduces a number of upgrades including decentralized verification network (DVN), permissionless execution, increased throughput, and enhanced programmability. In addition, the mainnet is expected to launch in January 2024. The launch will include V2 endpoints on each chain supported by V1.
