PANews reported on December 14 that blockchain data analysis company Bitrace posted a message saying that people should be alert to the risk of fake wallets stealing coins under panic. Bitrace has just received a report that two victims tried to transfer their assets to new addresses out of panic after the Ledger supply chain attack was disclosed, but downloaded a fake wallet app, resulting in a total of 9.7 ETH and more than 60,000 USDT being stolen.
